I think I am in the wrong section, I need to be in the Japanese section.

I put that through a translator and it said something about licking balls, the race of Mexico and coming onto the forum and speaking Spanish?

Sorry guys, I speak no Spanish at all. I could try and translate everything I say through a translator but they don't seem to capture everything I want to say very well.

Apologies if my speaking english on your forum is offensive.

Thank you PicoSo, I think that means you moved my thread for me

The car will hopefully get dyno'ed in the near future and I can give proven figures.

I know how much power I expect the car to make and I know how much power it was spec'ed for but that would just be all talk until proven so I'll keep that figure to myself ;-)

I can explain some more about the car yeah no problem.

Basically, the car was a GTLE with some nice modifications but I wanted boost. I had sold all of the modifications from the car and returned it to standard, with the intention of selling the car and putting all the money together to buy a Lancer Evo 3.

In a flash of inspiration, I realised it would be far more satisfying to turbo the GT than to sell up and buy an Evo, so the project began.

The project started with the block being sent off to a machine shop to be overbored for larger forged pistons. An eight counter weight crank was fettled by the machine shop and added and they also installed the oil squirters which are a standard feature of the SR20DET but not the SR20DE.

The head was skimmed and given new valves etc and the whole lot came together to produce a nice engine which should withstand some big boost.

You can see the build pictures of the project at this link:

http://www.datsuns.co.uk/Pictures/GTT/GTT.html

This is what the car looked like prior to breaking the mods off to start again:

I went for a sleeper factory look this time, hopefully nobody will know what hits them till it's too late!
