I think if you are happy to offer the post to one of the new UK guys, I'd be very happy if we waited to see if any of the other UK guys would be interested in this post.

I would happily do this, I just don't think it is fair I am awarded such a role purely because I was in the right place at the right time if you see what I am saying.
